Start a Couple’s Bucket List
Romance starts with sharing your dreams. Sit down together and make some yummy coffee drinks and discuss ideas on things you would like to see and do in the coming months. It can be something as simple as planting a garden or an epic trip to a place you have dreamed of going. Perhaps take a class together and share something new (photography, dance, cooking) the list is endless. Include a charity or volunteer life.

Have Breakfast in Bed
How about preparing a delicious breakfast for your beloved and serving it in bed? As they say, good food is the way to someone’s heart. You can make some waffles or pancakes and jazz them up with whipped cream and strawberries. You can even sprinkle some chocolate syrup. Break some eggs and cook a scrumptious cheese omelet with some toast. Most importantly, don’t forget the morning coffee! After it is done, place the food on the bed tray with some roses and a cute little love note.

Slow Dance to Your Favorite Song
Every couple has a song that takes them back to when they met or to a favorite memory from their dating days. Add that to your playlist and have it ready to play for your special someone and don’t forget some candles and voila you are transported back to that special time with all the memories when everything was new and exciting.

Take a Bubble Bath (with Champagne & Strawberries!)
Bubble baths are not only romantic but, they are quite therapeutic. They have a power to cleanse and soothe you inside out. Create a relaxing mood with scented candles, lighting and relaxing music, fill up the bath with water and add some salts and bath bombs, and plunge! Add some strawberries and a bottle of champagne and this is one of the must things to do on Valentine’s Day.

Watch a Sunset Together
Grab your favorite beverage and a blanket or chairs and head out to a spot where you have a good view to enjoy the sunset together. The simplicity of nature can inspire romance in all of us.

Spend the Night in a Bed and Breakfast
A must on your Valentine’s Bucket List is to spend a romantic night at a quaint Bed & Breakfast. B&Bs are a nice alternative to a hotel. Not only are they generally more cost effective, but you will also enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning that is much better than the typical continental buffet.
It can even be close to home and yet the ambiance and hospitality are delightful. B&Bs make a great overnight getaway too! And you may meet some new friends as well.

Create an Indoor Picnic
The weather may be cold outside, but you can create your very own cozy indoor picnic by the fire. Include your favorite bottle of wine and perhaps a yummy charcuterie board and you can even add your favorite sound affect (crickets chirping, waves crashing, a gurgling stream) Just let your imagination be free and have fun.
